About the Film
The Price of Progress is a project driven by filmmaker Kevin Williamson's long held interest in the ghost towns surrounding the airport. Having lived next to LAX for over 25 years and worked on this project for 3 years, Kevin has unearthed a trove of material documenting these erased areas. From early 20th century pictures, post cards and real estate artwork to the tv shows and movies filmed in these ghost towns today, he has put together the most complete history of the area ever put on film.
